Worth To Buy exists for a simple reason: most "best of" lists online are ranked by who pays the most, not by what actually works. We wanted a place that says plainly what to buy, what to skip, and — often the most useful answer — when the thing you already own is good enough.
What we do
We publish buying guides in 4 areas so far: online learning, kitchen appliances, home power & backup and home appliances. We open a new one only when a finished guide is ready for it. Every guide follows the same method. We find the one specification that decides the outcome for a real buyer. We shortlist the serious contenders, including the ones that pay us nothing. We assess them against that specification, then name one pick and one cheaper alternative.
Who does the research
Worth To Buy is written by a small editorial team at Golden Elite, Singapore. We do not run a lab. We compare published specifications, Amazon listings checked on a stated date, and independent measurements from named third parties. Every guide says which is which. Where we could not verify a figure we leave the cell blank rather than guess.
One relationship that is closer than an affiliate link
Worth To Buy’s parent company, Golden Elite, is WuKong Chinese’s exclusive agent in Singapore. That is a commercial interest in one of the platforms we cover, stronger than an affiliate arrangement, and we say so on every page that recommends it. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we pay for it
We are reader-supported through affiliate commissions. If you buy something after clicking a link on our site, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model — we do not sell sponsored posts, paid rankings, or "featured brand" slots.
A commission never changes a ranking. If the best product in a category pays us nothing, it still wins — and we will say so. Several of our current top picks earn us no commission at all.
What we are not
- We are not a lab. See “Who does the research” above for what we use instead.
- We are not medical, financial or legal advisers. Health content is general information, not personal advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health.
- We are not infallible. Products change, prices move, and sometimes we get it wrong. When we do, we update the piece and note what changed.
Corrections and feedback
If you spot an error, a stale price, or a product we should be covering, tell us. Corrections are made openly rather than quietly deleted. You can reach us at [email protected].
