What we set
- Advertising and measurement. We use Google's tag to measure whether visits
that arrive from our ads go on to do anything useful. It sets cookies on the
googletagmanager.comand Google advertising domains. - Affiliate attribution. When you click through to a retailer, that retailer may set a cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us. This is what funds the site and it costs you nothing. See our affiliate disclosure.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, and we don't run third-party advertising networks on this site.
Turning cookies off
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. You can also opt out of Google's advertising cookies at adssettings.google.com. Blocking affiliate cookies is fine — the site works normally, we just don't get paid for the referral.
