On the US side an independent test (Outdoor Life) drew only 49–70% of the label out of 1 kWh units at a small overnight load; the inverter is running itself. On the German side the deciding question is not capacity at all but where the battery sits and what happens to the surplus, because the 800 W feed-in cap applies to every architecture.
